The Boss Babe Blog
Build your career without sacrificing your life.
The past year has been a huge one for Sierra Woodcock & Affiliates. We’ve launched multiple new blogging series, one of which will actually be launching this month. We’ve partnered with countless new affiliates. We’ve launched our first email campaign, revamped our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as participated in a number of civil and women’s rights campaigns. We’ve encountered a lot of struggles along the way that we never expected to encounter, a lot of obstacles were tossed in front of us that we had never considered facing. That’s why we’ve come to the conclusion that we simply must recognize the hard work, team work, and all round blood, sweat, and tears that other small businesses and institutions are putting into their organizations, as well.
We’re dubbing this new recognition our “Award of Excellence”. The Award of Excellence isn’t an honor that we’ll be bestowing upon just any organization that we may have brushed elbows with once or twice. This recognition will be given only to the organizations that we are certain are deserving of such a title. These will be businesses that we have an active, working relationship with, and that we have an in-depth history with, as well. In other words, these will be businesses, or public figures for that matter, that you’ve probably seen on our blog before, and will probably see on our blog again. We’re doing something that we don’t normally do, we’re guaranteeing that you’ll have a positive experience with these companies and/or individuals, because we trust them that much, and we’ve seen first-hand how hard they work to make sure their customers are always satisfied with the outcome they receive.
The blogging team here at Sierra Woodcock & Affiliates didn’t even have to think twice about which company we would be recognizing first. We’ve written about their incredible new institution many times in this blog over the past few months, and we plan on keeping an eye out for any advancements they may be making in their programs, because we appreciate and admire the work that they do. This quarter, the Sierra Woodcock & Affiliates Award of Excellence goes to: The Capstone Institute!
We believe that a business should focus more on the community it serves than the way their pocketbook is looking. In today’s society, we get too caught up on making money, and we don’t stop to look around at the neighbors next to us, or the coworker that is struggling. Many times, we don’t even notice anything is wrong, until that person asks us for help, and honestly, that’s a bit sad. You all know that Sierra Woodcock & Affiliates strives to improve the lives of our customers, readers, and followers. Whichever title you fall under, we aim to improve your relationships, your career, your health, your happiness, and even fight for your basic rights as a citizen of well…the world. With this Award of Excellence, we’re commending The Capstone Institute for thinking outside of the corporate box and paving a way for individuals within the Jacksonville community to improve their own quality of life, as well as their family’s quality of life.
Jacksonville, much like other smaller town in the United States, is facing an economic crisis of sorts, at the moment. In fact, the founder of the Capstone Institute states that the average yearly income for a family in Northwestern Jacksonville is around $13,000. With a pharmaceutical tech degree, students could raise that average to $30,000 or much more! That’s a difference that could put food on the table that small children are eating at, or even buy a car that’s proven safe for a family to drive! In other words, it’s a difference that you just don’t understand until you’ve experienced.
Not only does The Capstone Institute provide educational services, this semester they were also able to find sponsors for each of their students, giving their entire first class of willing-to-learn young adults the chance to earn a degree tuition free! Student loans and debt can be overwhelming, and many times defeats the purpose of the degree, itself. The Capstone Institute has a mission to treat their students like students, not I.D. numbers, and give them the God-sent opportunities that they’ve been searching for to improve their lives, and in turn, influence positive change in the community, as well.
Thank you, Capstone Institute for:
- Thinking of the community before yourselves.
- Providing young people paths to stability.
- Recruiting sponsors to help student avoid immediate debt.
- Staying true to your faith and actively pursuing your purpose.
- Refusing to discriminate against any person for any reason.
- Fighting against the cliché that a viable education requires many years and thousands of dollars that students simply do not have.
- Growing the healthcare field of tomorrow.
- Guiding individuals that may be confused or worried about their future.
- Helping driven individuals reach their capstones.
For this, we extend to you, the Sierra Woodcock & Affiliates 1st Quarterly Award of Excellence. Congratulations. Dr. Albert Chester & The Capstone Institute. Thank you for all that you do for the community.
