I understood this struggle. I cleaned my face every morning and every night. I tried my best to eat healthy foods. At 11 years old, I OBVIOUSLY wasn't ruining my skin with drugs or harmful chemicals. I wasn't even wearing enough makeup to irritate my skin, wearing none at all on most days! However, I had horrible, terrible, acne. I tried multiple brand-name products, my step-mother even buying Proactive for me at one point in time. Nothing worked.
Fast-forward 3 years later, and I was being picked up to have a sleepover with an old friend. Her mother was shocked. "What have you been doing for your face? I need to know, *name* is having so much trouble with acne nowadays." All I could tell her was, I'm not sure. I've just been cleaning my face regularly. Maybe I just grew out of it. She wasn't really pleased with my answer, but she could tell I was being honest. Then, I went a couple of nights without using the product that I had been using for months. I woke up the next morning and BAM! A pimple was sitting right there on my chin, staring at me through the mirror. I instantly grabbed my cleanser and started scrubbing. I covered it with makeup all week long, and then washed my face with the Garnier Exfoliating Wash every night. Within a few days, the pimple was gone. I haven't made that mistake since, and I haven't had any issues since then.
The face scrub that I had thought I was only using because there was "no product on the market that truly worked and at least this one made my face smell good and fruity fresh" had actually been my saving grace the ENTIRE TIME. Now, I recommend it to anyone and everyone that is struggling with skin problems. I even have my Mom using it to correct her skintone. It leaves a fresh glow that is absolutely beautiful. Of course, I also suggest that people make sure to workout, clean their face after their workouts, try to avoid harsh wind or temperatures on their skin, and make honest attempts to eat healthy. All of this is a contributing factor in the appearance of your skin as well.
