The past year has been a huge one for Sierra Woodcock & Affiliates. We’ve launched multiple new blogging series, one of which will actually be launching this month. We’ve partnered with countless new affiliates. We’ve launched our first email campaign, revamped our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as participated in a number of civil and women’s rights campaigns. We’ve encountered a lot of struggles along the way that we never expected to encounter, a lot of obstacles were tossed in front of us that we had never considered facing. That’s why we’ve come to the conclusion that we simply must recognize the hard work, team work, and all round blood, sweat, and tears that other small businesses and institutions are putting into their organizations, as well.
We’re dubbing this new recognition our “Award of Excellence”. The Award of Excellence isn’t an honor that we’ll be bestowing upon just any organization that we may have brushed elbows with once or twice. This recognition will be given only to the organizations that we are certain are deserving of such a title. These will be businesses that we have an active, working relationship with, and that we have an in-depth history with, as well. In other words, these will be businesses, or public figures for that matter, that you’ve probably seen on our blog before, and will probably see on our blog again. Welcome! I know many of you may be familiar with the blog that we previously run on www.sierrawoodcock.com. You see, the problem was, the blog wasn't updated very frequently, and we noticed that it became a bit more of a spam page than a blog. With the new year, we decided to step up our blogging game, as well as redesign the entire website! (Just in case you hadn't already noticed.)
This blog is going to be like taking a glimpse inside of my mind when you read it, filtered of course, and a bit more organized than my Tumblr blogs. There will be posts about literature and writing obviously, there will be contests, opinion pieces, and television reviews. Pretty much anything you are looking for can be found here.
